Overview

Who this is for: Students paying outstanding fees online.

What you can do here: Select unpaid fees, review totals, and continue to secure checkout.

Prerequisites

  • You can sign in with the role for this guide and access the entry route.
  • Required student or payment data exists for your scenario.
  • If your role is restricted, some actions may be hidden.

Step-by-step Procedure

  1. Open My Payments > Make Payment (/Student/MakePayment).
  2. In Select Unpaid Fees to Pay, choose one or more checkboxes.
  3. (Optional) In Link Unallocated Payments, select any payment you want to apply.
  4. Review Payment Summary:
    • Total
    • selected fee count
  5. Select Proceed to Payment to continue to secure checkout.
  6. If shown, use Apply Payment when your total becomes $0.00 after linking an unallocated payment.
  7. Use Cancel to return to your dashboard.

Expected Outcomes

  • The workflow completes and expected updates are visible in the destination page.
  • You can verify status, totals, or records using the page results shown in this flow.

Troubleshooting / Edge Cases

  • Fee rows marked PAID, PROCESSING, or PAYMENT PLAN are not selectable.
  • If the Proceed to Payment button is disabled, confirm at least one unpaid fee is selected.
  • Use Select All for faster selection when many fees are listed.
  • If the page shows No Fees, select Back to Dashboard.

Variations / Branching Flows

Q: Why can't I select every fee?

A: Some fees are already paid, in process, or on a payment plan.

Q: What happens after I click Proceed to Payment?

A: You are redirected to secure hosted checkout to finish payment.
