Overview
Who this is for: Students checking fees, payments, and assigned items.
What you can do here: View your balance, review unpaid fees, and open assigned item details.
Prerequisites
- You can sign in with the role for this guide and access the entry route.
- Required student or payment data exists for your scenario.
- If your role is restricted, some actions may be hidden.
Step-by-step Procedure
- Open Dashboard from the top menu (
/Student/Index). - Review your summary card:
- Name, Grade, and your student number shown as
# followed by the number (no separate "Student Number" label) - Outstanding Balance
- Below the summary card, a stat row shows Total Fees, Total Paid, and Items (your assigned item count; select it to open Assigned Items)
- In Outstanding Fees, review each fee's status:
- PAID, PAYMENT PLAN, PROCESSING, or UNPAID
- Select a fee row to open fee details.
- If available, select Make Payment in the Outstanding Fees section.
- In Assigned Items, select an item card to open full item details.
Expected Outcomes
- The workflow completes and expected updates are visible in the destination page.
- You can verify status, totals, or records using the page results shown in this flow.
Troubleshooting / Edge Cases
- If you see No Outstanding Fees!, your account is currently up to date.
- A Billable badge means the assigned item is included in your balance.
- If the page shows an error banner, refresh once and contact support if it continues.
- Use menu shortcuts for My Payments > Payment History and My School > Assigned Items.
Variations / Branching Flows
Q: What does PROCESSING mean on a fee?
A: The fee is temporarily locked while a payment action is in progress.
Q: Why is one item marked Billable?
A: Billable items are included in your account balance.
