Overview

Who this is for: Parents adding another child to the same parent login.

What you can do here: Link a student using school-provided student credentials.

Prerequisites

  • You can sign in with the role for this guide and access the entry route.
  • Required student or payment data exists for your scenario.
  • If your role is restricted, some actions may be hidden.

Step-by-step Procedure

  1. Open Students > Link Student (/Parent/LinkStudent).
  2. In Student Information, enter required fields:
    • Student Number
    • Student PIN
  3. (Optional) Enter First Name and Last Name.
  4. Select Link Student.
  5. Watch for a success banner.
  6. Return with Back to Dashboard and verify the student appears in Linked Students.

Expected Outcomes

  • The workflow completes and expected updates are visible in the destination page.
  • You can verify status, totals, or records using the page results shown in this flow.

Troubleshooting / Edge Cases

  • The page note states you need student credentials provided by the school.
  • If validation fails, the form shows:
    • Please provide a valid student number.
    • Please provide a valid student PIN.
  • Check for extra spaces in student number or PIN before submitting.
  • Use the Need Help? checklist on the page if linking fails.
